LOW SOIL COMPACTION

Soil compaction is simply decrease of soil porosity due to externally applied loads such as from tires. The densified, less porous soil lets less air and water through which is detrimental for plants and other living organisms.

A longer tire life cycle simply reduces the management and maintenance costs. Up to 70% of the tires end their lives because of rock damage when running off-the-road. In some hazardous environments like mining on high silicate containing grounds, 100% of the tires may get removed because of rock damage.

LARGER FOOTPRINT AREA

Kordsa Nylon 6.6

Highly durable and tough Kordsa Nylon6.6 material is the best solution for agricultural tires where larger footprint areas are required by lowering the pressure. Low tire pressure is however much more dangerous than high pressure because cords are damaged under the high compressive loads. In addition to that heat generation of tire increases due to excessive deformations and loads. Therefore Kordsa Nylon6.6 performs much better than PET.

BETTER FOOTPRINT FORCE DISTRIBUTION

PET is a higher modulus stiff material compared to Nylon6.6. This makes it a better choice for belt /breaker applications than Nylon6.6.

Heavier or lighter constructions are available. Monolyx is an extremely durable cord and should last much longer in harsh conditions such as off-road.
