Monolyx is a twisted monofilament cord. A single Monolyx 810dtex x 3 construction can replace a double layer 1400dtex x 2 (1260den x 2) capply which can reduce rubber compound need up to 40%. Heavier or lighter constructions are available. Monolyx is an extremely durable cord and should last much longer in harsh conditions like in off-road or very high speeds.

High Modulus Nylon 6.6

Modulus, in simple terms, in tire universe, is a measure of the resistance against elongation under a load. We help our customers increase their fabric modulus to reduce their compound need for higher speed tires. Up to 40% reduction in rubber compound need is possible.

ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE

 

Designed for driving pleasure and performance, UHP tires have a wider tread surface that is stickier than the standard. In order to maximize handling, the sidewall is also short and stiff.
