Kordsa, a leader in reinforcement technologies attended the Tire Tech Expo 2022, hosting the world’s leading suppliers in tire manufacturing, to share its next-generation technologies in tire reinforcement for the 22nd time this year. At the industry’s vital gathering the focus was on sustainable products, Kordsa shared its sustainable solutions and technologies contributing to CASE mobility in the automotive sector; initials of which respectively refer to Connected cars, Autonomous / Automated driving, Shared, and Electric.
As part of the event, a short course was conducted on 17 May, whereby Kordsa Market Development Team Leader Bahadır Kaya and Technical Consultant Yücel Ayyıldız delivered a presentation on “Overview of Tire Cord Constructions and Production Processes”, and Technical Consultant Saadettin Fidan shared his presentation on “Applications on Polyamide & Polyester Tire Cord Fabrics”.
Müge Metinöz, the Market Development Project Manager at Kordsa, participated in the exhibition conference on 18th May, by discussing Kordsa’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) strategy, governance principles, sustainability approach, how the company includes its stakeholder in its sustainability journey, and how Kordsa contributes to United Nations Development Goals.

The leader in reinforcement technologies positions itself as an enabler rather than a manufacturer and contributes to a more sustainable future. In this regard, Kordsa, embracing sustainability at its Board of Directors level and adopting this approach in its governance model, created a comprehensive sustainability roadmap for 2025, 2030 and 2050. The Company, aims to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest, with its commitment to the Science-Based Targets Initiative to help limit global warming to well below 1.5°C.
