Kordsa is at 35th Annual US-Turkey Relations Conference
Kordsa attended 35th Annual Conference on US-Turkey Relations. Held in Washington by the American-Turkish Council and the Turkish-American Business Council, this year’s theme was “Shaping the Future: Business, Innovation, and Growth”. Prominent names of the business world and the public sector from the U.S. and Turkey were participants of the Conference.
The commercial and diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Turkey were addressed at the Conference. Co-sponsored by Korda Global, the Conference was the venue of discussions on the topics of New Digital Economy, Methods of Entering the US and Turkish Markets, Defence and Security, Healthcare and Cybersecurity.
Kordsa’s Chief Operating Officer of North America, James Del Piano gave a speech during the session “Assessing the U.S. Market for Turkish Manufacturers” at the Conference.
Having shared their experience of the North American market where “The Reinforcer” is the leading manufacturer, Del Piano explained the importance they attached to the region, and also mentioned the operations of Kordsa. Del Piano stated that Kordsa is a reinforcement brand offering its tire reinforcement technologies to the entire world, and added that they serve the region with their manufacturing facilities at Chattanooga and Laurel Hill.
Having mentioned the fact that Kordsa had started off as a Turkish manufacturer, Del Piano said that they occupied a global leadership position in the market of tire reinforcement technologies with their manufacturing facilities in four different regions of the world. Del Piano added that they are recently transferring their knowledge and experience in the tire reinforcement technology also to the composite and construction reinforcement markets, and they are now serving as “The Reinforcer” to the entire world in those three different business fields.
